The Division of Hematology/Oncology Welcomes Angela R. Bradbury, MD
Angela R. Bradbury, MD, joins the division of hematology/oncology as an assistant professor of medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Bradbury received her medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina. She completed a residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in hematology/oncology at the University of Chicago Medical Center. She also completed a fellowship at the MacLean Center for Clinical Medical Ethics at the University of Chicago.
Dr. Bradbury specializes in the treatment of breast cancer, as well as cancer prevention with a focus on cancer risk assessment. Her research program focuses on the clinical implementation of genetic medicine to promote the health of individuals and families. These include studies evaluating delivery of genetic services, communication of genetic information in clinical settings and within families and the impact of early communication of genetic risk in adolescent girls.
Board certified in internal medicine and hematology/oncology, Dr. Bradbury is a member of the American Society of Preventative Oncology, the American Public Health Association, the American Society of Human Genetics, and the American Society of Clinical Oncology.
She sees patients at Perelman Center for Advanced Medicine.
